Droopy
Eyebrow
Treatment
A brow that has descended with age, weighing down the upper lid and softening the natural expression.
What it is
With age, the outer eyebrow can gradually descend, creating brow ptosis and an unbalanced, tired appearance.
As the brow drops, excess upper-eyelid skin can become more prominent. A precise brow lift elevates the brow position, opens the upper-eye contour, and restores a more refined, youthful expression.
The treatment
Non-surgically, botulinum toxin or dermal fillers can provide subtle brow elevation and restore lost volume, with results typically lasting four to six months.
Direct
An incision is placed immediately above the eyebrow.
Forehead
The incision follows an existing forehead crease.
Pretrichial
The incision is positioned at the hairline, where it can be concealed.
Endoscopic
Small openings are made behind the hairline for a minimally invasive approach.
Brow lift surgery is often combined with blepharoplasty, allowing the brow and upper eyelid to be refined together for a more balanced, youthful eye aesthetic.
Results Results
The upper face opens up and looks rested, while the shape of your own brow and your own expression are kept.
Where the brow was the real cause, correcting it does more for a tired appearance than eyelid surgery alone would.
